Dear Parent/Legal Guardian:

Thank you for submitting an application to the Trumbull Career & Technical Center (TCTC). Please read the directions carefully and complete the online application on the next page. Once submitted, your application will be reviewed by your student’s home high school guidance counselor and then forwarded to the TCTC for processing.

Enrollment in program and academic course offerings is dictated by maximum class size limits. Students are encouraged to apply early to ensure the availability of their specific course requests. Applications received by the priority deadline of January 15, 2021, will be reviewed and processed. Ninety percent attendance or better is required for program certification and will be used to determine eligibility in over-subscribed programs. Extenuating circumstances will be reviewed on a case by case basis by the TCTC counselor and program supervisor.

Students will be notified of their application status after March 1, 2021. There will be rolling admissions after the priority application date; applications will continue to be accepted for programs that are not full. Applications put on hold due to credit deficiencies will be processed after it is determined that the student meets eligibility guidelines (no more than 2 credit deficiencies). Students will be notified in writing of the status of an application once it is processed by the TCTC. By accepting our offer of admission, you commit your student to attend the TCTC for the first two weeks of school in the fall of the upcoming school year.
